This is the fourth portrait from "Spearhead From Space", the Auton. I used a different painting technique to get a properly "plastic" effect.

I think the plastic effect has worked really well. I am not sure if the highlights on the bottom right of his face are too bright as that area is shadowed but then as he is plastic it might be right. I would also suggest perhaps defining the 'inside' of his mouth a little more like you have around the eyes. I really love the colours you have used in this, especially in the shdows.
I have never seen an Auton before, I just googled them, they're creepy lol.
