Life Is A Seed

(alternate title: "Eternal Life") Oil pastel on paper. This drawing arose from some musing about death, actually. It was an image that came to me and demanded that I make it! I am like that tree, bound inside the seed of my life here, and when this body dies the true life which has been growing and nurtured all that time will emerge. Then I will be "like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither."
