Technique - wonderful choices of color and and fluid use of line (I LOVE SWIRLIES!), great textures added with controlled splatter (or salt?) all of which tells me you have the know-how and experience to make great use of acrylic paint... not always an easy thing to accomplish! At first I thought it was watercolor
Impact - the painting reads like a snapshot, telling a little story about the mundane moments of the life of 10 and Rose (if "mundane" could describe anything about life aboard the TARDIS!). A beautiful moment of peace and camaraderie.
