Update: January 6, 2018
Feeling more "Professional" these days, and I do take commissions. Send me a Note to inquire.
I have moved into a real house again.. but this time we're buying it! My studio furnishings are in place in the room normal people call a "living room"... no couches and end tables for me! All the contents of the studio are still in boxes, as well as most the kitchen and bath things, but we are settling in. We have a "bedroom" for the TV, books, DVDs, CDs, and comfy chairs, and another "bedroom" for the sewing machine(s), crafting supplies and (eventually) a futon for guests.
I've opened a Society6 store! Check out my designs and art printed on select products and some in art-for-the-wall giclee prints.
How long have you been on DeviantArt? 3 years on Nov. 8th
What does your username mean? "Tinidril" is the name of a character in a book (Perelandra) who is not referred to by her name until the last chapter. It was the most obscure literary reference I could think of. Usually that means that I'm the first person to try using it to sign up for things, but it didn't work at DA... someone had the temerity to use "Tinidril" before I signed up! Hence, the "the-" stuck on the front Plus, I am the owner of www.tinidril.com!
Describe yourself in three words. Artist, musician, poet
Are you left or right handed? Right
What is your favourite type of art to create? Portraiture
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be? Caricature
What type of art do you tend to favourite the most? Really exceptional work from people or groups I watch. I seldom "browse" by topic.
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist? TheElvishDevil , she was my first dA friend!
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be? jetdog-art ... though not in a creepy-stalker-kinda-way
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? A very dear dA friend, flamingodancer123 , was the first to gift me a subscription to dA.
What are your preferred tools to create art? There is no substitute for good old fashioned pencils, brushes, pens, markers... traditional is messy, but honest. I do love the option to work digitally, but still like it to at least look traditional
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? a quiet place, usually right here in front of the computer... yeah, even with traditional media!
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory? The first comment! Community interaction is core to the success of dA
